This mini-blog series highlights members of the coworking space, “The Workspace” located at the KEDCO Downtown Business Studio (207 S Buffalo St, Warsaw, IN).
Visions of Q Studio, located in The Workspace coworking space at the KEDCO Downtown Studio, specializes in custom apparel printing and other printed products.
Founder and owner, Quinisha “Q” Williams served nearly nine years in the Marine Corps as a Satellite Communications Operator/Maintainer, and served in Afghanistan from 2007-2009. After medically retiring in 2014, she started the business while staying at home with her children. All products from Visions of Q are printed in-house with commercial printing equipment.
Recognizing limitations in apparel printing such as: minimum quantities, lack of high wash tolerance, cracking, peeling, high upfront costs for full-color printing, Quinisha ventured into DTF technology. Visions of Q partners with manufacturers to create and offer a unique brand of consumables, providing high quality printing to anyone through her print process, VividQolor Printing.
“I utilize my oversized garage for equipment to keep costs down, and the coworking space at the KEDCO Downtown Business Studio provides a great place for me to conduct meetings, host product showings, and offer education to my customers at an affordable rate,” said Quinisha. “KEDCO offers something that is great for startups but also great for those who want to downsize and save on costs.”
The Workspace coworking space located on the second floor of the KEDCO Downtown Business Studio, offers floating and dedicated desks with option for 24-hour access, well-equipped conference rooms, high-speed wireless internet and printer, and more.
Quinisha has found immense value in collaborating in the space with other member businesses.
“The best part to me was meeting wonderful people. I have enjoyed the atmosphere here at KEDCO and it makes my job easier knowing I have a place to work but also fellowship with other wonderful people,” said Quinisha.
