In this weekly outreach, we often focus on themes of persistence, resilience, and achievement. Our team at KEDCO is mindful that there are still many individuals in our community who are still swimming upstream against the economic disruptions of the pandemic. There are also many organizations in our area that are searching for employees.
With that in mind, I want to share a special message of encouragement from our friends at Ivy Tech Warsaw about how they provide a pathway to high-paying, fulfilling careers in our community and serve as a valuable training partner for local employers.
Ivy Tech Warsaw offers 8- and 16-week courses, new short-term certificate funding, industry apprenticeships, and the innovative Achieve Your Dream concierge based program. Vice Chancellor Allyn Decker and his team can help job seekers and employers navigate all the programming and funding options available.
We can connect local employers to a consortium of twelve colleges and universities in Northeast Indiana and a network of other workforce development partners. Let’s all get the word out so that we can help members of our community take the next steps in their career journeys.
