“Things turn out best for people who make the best of the way things turn out.” – John Wooden
During our weekly team Zoom call on Friday, I shared a page-long list of all the open projects we are working on at this time.
A few highlights include our ongoing series of KEDConnections virtual gatherings, our emerging Small Business Relief Fund, and our work leading the workforce housing initiative.
We are offering three KEDConnections sessions this week. Drop us a line to RSVP for one or more of these Zoom meetings:
- 10 AM on Tuesday: learn about the Clearly Kosciusko community brand from the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams and share your input during this online listening session
- 11 AM on Wednesday: hear from Master Consultants about ‘Being Part of the Solution’ during these unprecedented times
- 12 PM on Friday: our quarterly Medical Device Roundtable goes online with a presentation from Triple Ring Technologies about their innovation processes
We are working with a number of partners to expand our Revolving Loan Fund to include the Small Business Relief Fund. Look for more details in the next week or so. In the meantime, we still have working capital loans available to support local businesses. Find out more at the KEDCo website.
Finally, we continue to make progress with the workforce housing initiative, which will provide a catalyst for development of additional housing options so that more people can choose to work AND live in Kosciusko County.
