“Acknowledge your small victories. They will eventually add up to something great.” Kara Goucher
Taking time to appreciate our incremental achievements is so important to keeping us positive, focused, and aware of our team members’ contributions. To borrow from Jim Collins, it is the consistent pace of the 20 mile march that sees us through to our goals.
We’re a ‘day late’ sharing this message so that we could acknowledge a few of our small victories at KEDCo. First, we are announcing later today the initial recipients of our Small Business Relief Fund loans, which provide up to $10,000 at zero-interest to support job retention and business recovery.
Next, the Town of Milford yesterday became the first community to execute a Memorandum of Understanding to work together on pre-development activities for workforce housing in that community. We look forward to working with officials in Milford and elsewhere on this outreach.
Finally, we are adjusting the timeline of our Summer Innovation Series to start on Wednesday, June 24th. Innovation is the key to survival and long-term success in our organizations. These six online workshops will provide us – and all of us are innovators – with tools for creative problem solving.
